The Shen Family

Since they both became new parents themselves this year, Jerry and his brother thought it would be a great idea to surprise their parents with a gift of photos of their new families, so we met up at their home and shot one morning in early January - I must say that it was a great morning. Their two little ones were so sweet and cute, I really enjoyed working with this whole family!

The Newman Family

I apologize that it has been a while since I updated the blog - with the whirlwind of the photo season and the holidays, the blog got away from me! Now that I have some time to get back, I wanted to share with you some shots of the Newman family that I shot back in December. We shot at their beautiful home and got to spend the better part of the morning together! Their little one was a doll and all of them were so great to work with. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot!

The McConnell Family

One of my favorite things is when I get to work with a family over and over again. It is always so fun to see the kids and family grow together. Here is the McConnell family, great friends of mine - I am sure you might recognize them from earlier postings on the blog or my website, but now here they are with the newest addition to their family, Lila! Grace is a wonderful big sister and I look forward to many more sessions with the whole family in the future. Thanks, Jeff & Erika!

The Yum Boys

GQ - I have found your newest models! The Yum boys were a riot to work with! In a matter of minutes they would go from being very serious to super silly - too funny! I got some great shots of them just being themselves and having fun.

The O'Connor Family

I must say I have one of the best jobs ever. I get to meet so many great people and the time I spend photographing with them always keeps me on my toes - in a good way! I got to spend the afternoon with the O'Connor family recently and we had the best time - their little girl Eden was a little model in training and is clearly going to be a heart-breaker some day.

The Cole Family

The Cole family's favorite place to spend time is at Huntington Beach, so I met them there to shoot some pictures of their whole family last weekend. They were so fun to work with - they even had their own holiday props! I had so much fun with them at the beach and I must say that it was pretty neat to be able to shoot three generations of women from their family. Here are a few of my favorites from the day!
